Capitola Beach

Capitola Seashore is one of the most beautiful beaches in California and has a lovely (and colourful) coastal vibe. It is located at the northern finish of Monterey Bay. One of the finest things about Capitola Beach is that it is much more private and smaller than some of the other California beaches.

Once here, go to one of the local shops and rent a boogie board. It’s a lot of fun. For a tasty bite to eat, head to Paradise Beach Grille. The portions are significant. Go hungry.

Stinson Beach, Marin County

Stinson Beach is just 20 miles north of the city of San Francisco and two and a half, much from the secluded (and charming) Bolinas Bay.

Once here, be sure to take a dip in the ocean, as it’s one of the best beaches in California for swimming. If you’re more into hiking, take the California hiking trails from the beach to Mount Tamalpais State Park.

If you visit in June, you can watch or even participate in the oldest trail race in the United States, the 7.4-mile-long Dipsea Run, which looks fun and exhausting at the same time. For a great place to stay, head to the beautiful Triton Hotel; it’s so beautiful.

Coronado Beach

Coronado Beach is a mile and a half of silver sand beach just ten miles north of the Mexican border. Once there, you can learn to surf at Beaches Surfing Academy, take a stroll along the Coronado Heritage Walk, or rent a surrey along Ocean Boulevard.

From the island of Coronado, you can watch the sand sculptors as they create epic art. If you arrive here in December (approx), you can also watch the whales as they are close to the beach

It’s fantastic to see and makes it one of the best beaches in California for sunbathing, (hopefully) whale watching, and lots of ice cream.

Natural Bridges State Beach

One of the most fantastic beautiful beaches in the Golden State, Natural Bridges State Beach takes its name from its magnificent rock arch, which is so awe-inspiring to behold. There is a remarkably untouched and wild aspect of the place.

Located in a beautiful state park just outside of Santa Cruz, the beach is home to plenty of wildlife. Many people come here to witness the spectacular monarch butterfly migration that takes place each year when thousands and thousands of them flit finished the park.

Owing to its proximity to Santa Cruz, there is sufficient to see and do in the area. After admiring the beautiful view and lying down on the beach for a while, companies can choose to hike, surf, or even explore the town.

Worth a visit, the lonely and untouched look of Natural Bridges State Park will brand you feel like you’re truckload miles from civilization, making it ideal for people looking to immerse themselves in nature.

Arroyo Burro Beach

Located in Santa Barbara County and enclosed by rugged coastal cliffs, Arroyo Burro Beach is a beautiful but lonely place to visit.

The big waves hitting the shore add to its wildness. Many surfers come here to ride the waves, while locals come to walk their dogs.

The beach offers plenty of facilities, so you’ll often come across people picnicking, barbecuing or fishing in the shallow waters. For the more knowledgeable, whales can sometimes be seen off the coast.

Also, with some great parks a stone’s throw from its golden shingles, Arroyo Burro Beach is faultless for those looking to immerse themselves in nature.

Mission Beach

Located between the Pacific Ocean and Mission Bay, the thin strip of land that separates them is manufactured and contains the fabulous Mission Beach, which has many different facets.

At one end is Belmont Park. This amusement park offers many impressive attractions, as well as many shops and restaurants. Away from what it shows in the way of entertainment, the beach offers plenty of outdoor activities for visitors, ranging from swimming and surfing to volleyball and water sports.

Carmel Beach

The stunning white sands of Carmel Beach are fringed by scenic green hills, and strolling amid spectacular scenery while admiring ocean views is an enchanting experience.

Undoubtedly one of the most fantastic beautiful beaches in California, Carmel Beach is sacred with incredible sunsets and is much lower and more relaxed than numerous other beaches in the state.

Since it’s located right next to Carmel-by-the-Sea, there are plenty of restaurants, bars, and hotels to visit, though, in reality, most people come for the solitude and spectacular scenery.

Huntington Beach

Nicknamed “Surf City,” it’s no surprise that Huntington Beach is famous the world over for its significant surf breaks. So, of course, it had to be in a Beach Boys song at some point.

Beautiful to behold, the palm-fringed beach stretches for more than fifteen kilometres, and the gigantic waves crashing spectacularly on the shoreline make it a mecca for surfers.

Away from the water, the city itself has a lot going on. There are sufficient bars and clubs to hang out in after a busy day soaking up the sun or strolling along the pier.
